Over the past four years, Toyota has claimed the top spot for vehicle recalls three times. In 2012, Toyota Motor Corp has recalled more vehicles than any other automaker operating in the U.S.
A total of 5.3 million Toyota vehicles were called in 2012. From faulty power window switches to suspension problems, from accelerator concerns to airbag issues, we’ve brought ’em all to you. Nearly half of the 5.3 million vehicles recalled were for a single recall – involving potential vehicle fires.
Honda, which led the recall list in 2011, came in second in 2012 with 3.9 million vehicles involved with safety concerns.
