Nissan will recall some 2011-2012 Nissan Quest minvans because of a software programming problem when the van is driven at slow speeds or – bizarrely to me – idling on a decline with ¼ tank fuel or less. But it makes sense: apparently it is from an insufficient supply of fuel to the Nissan Quest’s engine. When this happens, the vehicle can stall increasing the risk of a car accident and and otherwise being an annoying thing to happen while driving the new minivan you were so excited about. the engine may stall.
Nissan will solve the problem by notifying owners. Nissan dealers will reprogram the fuel pump control module, free of charge, of course, The recall is going to start in the middle of the month. You can call Nissan with questions or to vent at 800-647-7261.
