Kellogg Recalls Special K

Kellogg Co. has announced the recall of 36,000 packages of Special K Red Berries cereal as it could contain glass fragments.

While no reports of injury have been received, Kellogg made the decision after they discovered the possible presence of glass fragments from a single batch of one of the ingredients.

Recently, in October 2012, Kellogg recalled 2.8 million boxes of Mini-Wheats cereal after fragments of flexible metal mesh were found inside.
